Filippo Teodoro di Liagno : ウィキペディア英語版
Filippo Teodoro di Liagno

Filippo Teodoro di Liagno (Rome, 1589–1629 ) was an Italian painter, known as Filippo Napoletano.
==Biography==
Little is known about the artist’s life. Having moved to Naples with his family, he grew up in an artistic climate with a propensity for the visionary construction of scenes in accordance with models developed by a group of Flemish, German and French painters working in Rome and Naples. After returning to Rome around 1614, he became one of the artistic protégés of Cardinal Del Monte. In 1617 he moved to Florence, where he held the post of court painter to the Medici family and was highly esteemed for his original works with their wealth of dramatic, nocturnal scenes. After his return to Rome in 1621, he combined easel painting with fresco decorations featuring views of the countryside in the region of Lazio with ancient Roman ruins.
